This is a “tasting room.”
This is what you “taste” in a tasting room!

Seriously! At Jody’s Pantry Catering we offer a comprehensive tasting for those brides considering our wedding catering* services at a location of their choice. This is a great opportunity to sample the quality of our organic, scratch made foods across all the courses.
Starting with cold appetizers:
(vegetable phyllo cups, ricotta bruschetta crostinis, shrimp cocktail shots, tomato caprese skewers)
then hot appetizers:
(feta sundried tomato stuffed mushroom caps, roasted vegetable tarts, brie raspberry and almond in puff pastry, spanakopeta)
Moving on to pasta specialties:
(alfredo primavera, penne alla vodka with pancetta and caramelized onions)
Then based on your proposed service format, we serve a collection of plated entrees or small plate presentations. This particular tasting was of the small plate variety:
(coconut shrimp, sesame ginger chicken satays, bacon wrapped waterchesnuts, bbq braised short ribs with cheddar mashed potatoes)
If you desire our wedding cake services, then the sweet ending to your tasting would be cake samples in an array of gourmet combinations generally served cupcake style.
A JPC tasting is also a great opportunity to delve into customized menu planning with our Director of Catering or an event specialist. By making some preliminary food and service selections, we will be able to prepare a written detailed catering proposal with associated cost estimates for your knowledge, and discuss all of your event needs and targeted budget point. Our JPC Event Group can also make fabulous vendor referals to assist with your planning, as well as coordination of rental items you may need from linens to tents and beyond.

*Brides reserved at one of our exclusive catering venues with preset packages can attend a quarterly open house tasting for that specific venue by calling for calendar dates. Buhl Mansion brides receive a private consultation for menu, cake and event specific planning 6 months out from their wedding date which does include a tasting component.
