Spreading Holiday Cheer across the Steel City
December 11, 2015
Our little elves were hard at work this week assembling very special holiday gift baskets for our industry partners. Customized cocktail kits were handcrafted with all of the essential ingredients to get the party started, including our famous holiday treats! It was such an amazing day of joy and happiness as we made our deliveries. It truly is our most favorite day of the year!
Here’s a behind the scenes look at the creation of our holiday gifts. Follow us on Instagram @jpceventgroup for more creative gift ideas.

Staying true to our commitment to sustainability, we used VerTerra sustainable biodegradable “trays” for our boxes.

Chef Logan created vibrant, holiday colored fruit infusions in two delicious flavors, ginger mint and pear, and cranberry orange fruit, for festive cocktails. The festive puree was made by juicing fresh citrus, ginger and pears, muddling mint leaves and reducing fresh cranberries to a chutney and blending. To complete the cocktail kit, we also included a bottle of vodka which is the base of the cocktails. The ginger mint pear cocktail required ginger beer also! Yum!

To accent our cocktails, we made our famous holiday white chocolate peppermint popcorn, pistachio brittle and pretzel bark as sweet little bar snack munchies to enjoy while sipping cocktails. Get the recipe below!

Everyone at JPC Event Group wishes you and your family a very happy holiday season and all of the very best in the upcoming new year!
White Chocolate Peppermint Popcorn
8 cups non-buttered popped popcorn
1 pinch Flaked Sea Salt
2 {8 ounce} bars of White Chocolate, chopped
1/4 cup Ground Candy Canes
Directions:
In an extra large mixing bowl add the popcorn, sprinkle with a generous pinch of flaked sea salt and toss.
Add the chopped chocolate into a microwave safe measuring cup and heat slowly until melted and smooth, about 45 seconds to a minute depending.
Pour the melted white chocolate over the popcorn and toss it around until the popcorn is evenly coated.
Sprinkle with a quarter cup of candy cane dust and mix some more.
Spread the popcorn on a lined baking sheet and let the chocolate set up.
Store in an air-tight container for 2-3 days, also try drizzling the popcorn with melted milk chocolate!
