National Guacamole Day #JPCStyle
September 16, 2015
Today is the day to celebrate one of the most perfect dip there is – guacamole! September 16th is National Guacamole Day and to celebrate we are sharing Food52’s tips about everything you wanted to know about everyone’s favorite fruit!
Our catering division at JPC Event group offers a variety of homemade dips that are all perfect for getting the party started. The traditional guac made with avocado, cilantro, onions and lime juice has become a staple in Mexican cuisine and now chefs and restaurants are experimenting with different flavor combinations to create a variety of gourmet gussied-up versions.
For those of you who believe bacon makes everything better, we’re here to remind you that it is, in fact, avocado that makes everything — from toast to salad to chocolate mousse to eggs — infinitely better. This buttery, versatile fruit is capable of so much more than guacamole and can be used to enhance a variety of dishes. Before you run out to the store to stock up on avocados, read these links.
