Summer Fruit Salad with Arugula and Almonds

Perfect for those days it’s too hot to turn your oven on, this savory and sweet salad can be made with whatever fruit looks best at the market. For example, ripe green or black figs work very well in this and a couple of crushed ones can be substituted in the vinaigrette in place of the nectarine.

Vietnamese Pork Chops with Cantaloupe and Basil Salad

At its best, cantaloupe can be tender, juicy, and sweet. Its sweetness pairs very well with salty meats and cheeses- Prosciutto e melone anyone? This recipe gives the iconic pork and melon pairing a unique twist with fresh Vietnamese flavors.

This farm to fork dessert from Food & Wine is a fantastic showcase for seasonal fruit at its peak! Caramelizing the fruit on the hot grill intensifies its flavor, and the grilled bread served alongside soaks up the sweet juices.
