Creative ways to go from besties to bridesmaids

August 13, 2015

With a few years of experience under our belt, we know that a bride would have a hard time getting down the aisle without her best girls by her side. Who else would be there to help pick the dress or wipe happy tears away? These days it seems as though brides are getting more and more creative with fun ways to ask their best friends to be a part of their big day so we’ve put together a few fun and adorable ideas to get friends (or relatives) to go from BFF to bridesmaid. We hope these will inspire you for your big day!

Show your bridesmaids just how much they mean to you by filling a cigar box or gift bag with all of the essentials they’ll need to help you get down the aisle — from paint chips that give them an idea of the color scheme to your favorite pictures together. This is such a fun and unique way to ask your favorite ladies to be part of your special day. A lot of work is involved, but your besties will love it.

Surprise your bridesmaids by asking in an unexpected way. “Pop” the question with customized bottles of champagne or wine. You can customize a label and place it on a champagne or wine bottle with a cute note like “this will come in handy later on.”

Introduce an element of surprise to your proposal by sending the question written on a balloon. These adorable cards read, “I can’t say I do without you.”

Do your friends have a sweet tooth? Try a ring-shaped treat to entice them. Distribute over brunch or coffee, or have them mailed straight to your future maids!
