Catching Up!
September 22, 2009
Catching up on the past few weeks. Sorry for my lapse in blogging…the renovations have been in full swing (pictures soon to come), as well as a full JPC calendar, and a little family excursion.
First up: a wonderful vacation to Charleston at the end of August–

A great time enjoying the beach, the history and our amazing ocean view!
Next Up: A unique appetizer event held at the Butler County Airport in the Airquest Aviation Hangar.

This event showcased airplanes available for private charter through the host company, but it also proves that unique spaces and locations should be considered for your event– it adds drama and a unique flair for your guests.
Appetizers and desserts were stationed and hand butlered by JPC staff throughout the evening. The menu included delicacies like lamb chop lollipops, London broil panetini, and crab cake sliders.
Chef’s Tasting Party & Auction: held at The Mansion in Butler, PA on September 13, 2009.
This event benefited Community Care Connections, Inc. a wonderful organization that performs a wide range of services for cognitively or physically challenged adults, infant stimulation, home service nurse programs, and other related concepts.
Chef/owners Richard and Jody Wimer of JPC created a Satay Station for guests of the event to enjoy. Our Thai chicken satays with Thai Peanut dipping sauce were featured along with a Szechwan beef satay with roasted red pepper pesto or teriyaki sauce. For a vegetarian option, our mediterranean skewers of artichoke heart, fresh basil, olive, sun dried tomato and fresh mozzarella were marinated in balsamic vinaigrette.

We’ve got lots of featured weddings to catch up on, as well as, the current state of renovations at the Pantry facility. Also watch for an amazing featured venue review and several vendor reviews!
