Brock Collection
Brocade, velvets, and fur walked the runway in velvet smoking slippers at Kris Brock and Laura Vassar’s fall show. The husband-and-wife design team’s dresses were topped off with messy twisted french braids, adorned with barely-there hair accessories, perfect for a vintage-inspired wedding. The finale of winter white silk dresses inspired by the 1940s was a style-savvy bride’s dream.

Cushnie et Ochs
1940s Hollywood-starlet style slinked down the runway Friday afternoon at Cushnie et Ochs. Designer duo Carly Cushnie and Michelle Ochs are known for their sexy cutouts, and the girls definitely stepped it up for fall with silks, velvet and beading. The takeaway was a glamorous sexy chic girl ready for her rehearsal dinner, or an ultra-modern wedding. Either way, we’re obsessed.

Zimmermann
Australian brand Zimmermann took a step back in time to the 1960s and 1970s. Diaphanous silhouettes, shimmering lace, and lurex took the stage. I loved the geometric statement earrings paired with metallic hand-cut eyes and slick kabuki hair buns. Brides looking for a sleek and modern beauty look no further.

Houghton
Katharine Polk’s signature sexy style was on full display at her intimate presentation on Wednesday evening. Appointments were held in her studio, which doubles as the brand’s bridal atelier, showing lace in all dress styles. The alternative bride’s wish come true! Just add a smokey eye and a platform heel and you’re ready to go.
