I know that brides in the planning stages read TONS of wedding blogs... admit it. You stalk Weddingbee.com, Stylemepretty.com, Weddingaces.com with a religious fervor for the next hot trend, and great planning tips.

How many of you follow the blogs of your local vendors though? Think about it. They post photos probably held at your venue that could give you great inspiration. They review other local vendors that you might be considering working with or could be happy you discovered. They also sometimes publish discounts or package savings that you could be missing out on.

Following is a list of some of my favorite local wedding based blogs:

www.pifemaster.com/blog Love this blog by DJ Robert and his wife Jennifer. They post amazing photos of the guests really kicking it up at a variety of local venues, as well as detailed vendor and venue reviews.

www.bloomeryweddings.com/blog The Bloomery Florist blog based in Butler, PA offers brides tips, trends, and a host of great shots from area venues.

www.Laurarupphoto.blogspot.com Laura chronicles featured weddings, engagement shoots, and other amazing aspects of her photography work at her new blog.

www.craigphotography.wordpress.com Jon and Elizabeth do amazing work all around the area, and are very dedicated to their craft. Their well established blog features weddings, boudoir shoots, engagement sessions, vendor reviews...and so much more eye candy.

www.joannebartone.com Joanne just recently incorporated her blog with her public website, and this allows for ease of information access, as well as wedding photography blogs to die for.

www.kreedphotography.com/blog/ Another very accomplished photographer with a very modern and current trend style (as you'll note if you are following Style Me Pretty.)

On behalf of the United Way of Butler County, I would like to thank you for once again catering the Annual Meeting and Campaign Celebration, Red Apple Awards and Leadership Butler County and helping to make it another huge success.

This is long overdue, but a much needed Thank You for the amazing food and service of our July 24 wedding @ the Fieldstone. Guests raved about the {apple cranberry} stuffed chicken and the cake was beyond perfect! The wildflowers that were placed on the cake looked fabulous and the taste of it makes us look forward to our 1 year anniversary cake even more! The cd of pictures you took and sent to us was just an added bonus. Thank you for a wonderful job!

Thank you so much for helping make our wedding truly special. We are both avid cooks {and one of us is a chef} so the food was very important to us and one of the things we really wanted to share with our guests. We received so many compliments- so thank you. Perfect, does however seem to carry a stronger tone and that is exactly how we feel our wedding was...perfect. Thanks in large part to the work your group did. As an event planner, there is an unspoken pressure to throw the "perfect" party. Many thanks for the outstanding food, presentation and service that you and your staff provided for the Burns/Miller wedding. Despite the heat, our guests had so many wonderful comments regarding the meal-- especially the chicken and pasta.
Also, we thank you for the JPC blog that gives us another opportunity to see your fine work. When you are the parents of the bride, the time goes by and the special details go unnoticed by us. However, your blog gave us another chance to see and almost taste what we missed.
